In February 2016, we were contacted by Bath Spa University graduate Ben Goodway who now works for Jisc.

Jisc, in their own words, describe themselves as:

We are the UK higher, further education and skills sectors’ not-for-profit organisation for digital services and solutions.

We are:

  • Dedicated entirely to the sectors’ individual and collective needs
  • Not a vendor: we deal with and/or work with vendors and publishers on the collective behalf
  • Not for profit: every pound is used for the sectors’ benefit
  • Objective, but not unbiased: we put the sectors’ interests above all else

We are of the sectors, by the sectors, for the sectors.

Ben was looking for a film location for a scene in their video being created as an inspirational opener to their annual conference Digifest in March 2016 that showed students using technology, and what they can achieve through innovation, learning and application.

Given the variety of lecture spaces at Bath Spa University‘s Newton Park campus, we were able to help Ben to source the location he was looking for. It is always great to welcome back graduates, and even more so when we can help them to achieve  in the workplace.

Afterwards, Ben was kind enough to share the end product, for those of you who know the Newton Park campus I am sure you can spot our location in the video. He commented “thanks so much for all your help in making today happen. We captured some really great footage! “.
